Here I am again. Trying to keep myself to a schedule. I will do it, barring anymore life emergencies. I think the past 3 months should allow me to have a stress free couple of month but I know life does not work that way. So I will take it one day at a time and hope for the best.
This is the second card we made for my "April Showers bring May Flowers" themed Technique Classes. I wanted to showcase the Scallop Tag Topper Punch. I also wanted to show my customers how you can make a tag within a tag . I like that you are able to make a tag with a border around it.
The supplies that I used for this card were:
STAMP SET: Perfectly Penned (which is retiring in June)
PAPER: Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Gumball Green
INK: Strawberry Slush, Basic Black
ACCESSORIES: Jewel Rhinestones, Yellow Sharpie (non SU), Pear Pizazz 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Bird Builder Punch, Dimensionals, Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Petite Petal Punch, Baker's Twine, Scallops Embossing Folder
I love this color scheme. It seems so Spring like to me and the flowers just top it off. I am going to miss the Perfectly Penned Stamp set. That was one of my favorite stamp sets. Enjoy the day!

April Technique Class- Card 1
Well, I think I am finally back or at least I will be able to be more consistent with my posts. The family member who has been in the hospital for almost three months is out now. Hopefully the running I was doing will be reduced and I can get back to doing more stamping. I missed it so much.
The theme this month for my Technique Class is "April Showers Bring May Flowers". So all the cards had flowers on them. What I did for this card was to show my customers how you can combine 2 different flower punches and create a different flower. I first saw Jackie Topa make a Daffodil on her blog and decided I just had to show my customers.
The supplies that I used for this card were:
STAMP SETS: Blooming With Kindness
PAPER: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green
INK: Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie
ACCESSORIES: Petite Petals Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack Punches, Extra Large Oval, Designer Frames, Big Shot, Dimensionals, Sponge Dauber, Glue Dot
To make the Daffodil, I took the Petite Petals Punch and punched a shape out of Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Then I took the ruffled flower shape punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and punched using the Daffodil Delight Cardstock. The smalls punched shape I sponged the edges using Pumpkin Pie Ink. I them shaped into a small cup shape and placed in the center of the Petite Petal Flower using a Glue Dot. I cut very thin long pieces from the Gumball Green Cardstock and placed them behind the petals to make it look like the Daffodil's leaves. I was pleased how it all turned out.
Today is a three kid day, so I am off and running after them. Thank goodness it is nice outside today so we can all go outside to play. Come back tomorrow to see another of the cards we did this month. Enjoy the day!

Happy Easter Egg!
Happy Easter!!!
This was one of the cards that I had planned to make at my Easter Card Buffet. I had to cancel because of my relative who is ill. But I thought it was cute and wanted to share with you on Easter.
To make the egg, I used an Oval Framelit and cut the oval out to show a ribbon egg. I used a variety of colored ribbons to create the design. Then I added small flowers that I punched out of Strawberry Slush Cardstock. I then placed Rhinestone Jewels in the middle of the flowers.
The supplies that I used for this card were:
STAMP SET: Petite Petals
PAPER: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Pear Pizazz, Pink Pirouette
INK: Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush
ACCESSORIES: Petite Petal Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding, 3/8" Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon, 1/8" White Taffeta Ribbon, 1/8" Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon, Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Oval Framelits, Big Shot, Adhesive Paper, Rhinestone Jewels
I hope you like it. I had been thinking about doing this for Easter since Christmas. Well, I have a very busy day today. Enjoy the day!

Bunny Easel Card
I saw this cute little bunny and just had to make it. Unfortunately I did could not find a name with the pic I had originally seen. So whoever you are and you see this post, let me know and I will give you credit.
I made this card for each of my 3 grandsons. I had not made an Easel Card for a long time so it was fun to make one again, especially this little guy. He was not hard to make. He was a little time consuming though because of all the little pieces.
The supplies that I used for this card were:
STAMP SET: none
PAPER: Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black
INK: Pink Pirouette
ACCESSORIES: Scallop Circle Die, Big Shot, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Small Heart Punch, SpongeBlack Marker, Sticky Strip, Dimensionals
I think that they will like it. Who wouldn't love this adorable guy for Easter! Enjoy the day!

Eggstra Spectacular Card
This is a card that I created for Eli's daycare teachers. This card is very soft in color and not very bold in design. For me it is the perfect Spring card. This card is made using the Circle Card Thinlet. I love that thinlet! It makes creating this card so much easier. If you like fancy fold cards, you really need to get this. The Stamp Set used for this card was "Eggstra Spectacular". I used the rabbit from this set but I did not print the sentiment that is also on the stamp.
This is a close up of the card from the front. I used Black StazOn to stamp the image. The I took Blender Pens and Ink Pads to color in the image. A cute little pearl adorns the bunny's tail. The tiniest pearls are placed along the indentations on the Tasteful Trim.
The supplies that I used for this card were:
STAMP SET: Eggstra Spectacular
PAPER: Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Pear Pizazz, Strawberry Slush, Watercolor Wonder DSP
INK: Black StazOn, Baked Brown Sugar, Pear Pizazz. Strawberry Slush
ACCESSORIES: Pearl Jewels, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, 2-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Circle Card Thinlit, Tasteful Trim Die, Big Shot, Blender Pens
This is the inside view of the card which has the sentiment of Happy Easter on it. I think his daycare teachers will like it. They always make sure to thank me even if I only send a card. They are very nice that way. I have another busy day with trying to finish up Easter Treats for the boys' teachers. Enjoy your day!

Easter Blessings
I am back!! I know that I have not been that good the last 2 months with my posting. But we have been very busy with a relative who is in the hospital. I have had to cut back on my stamping time in order to take care of things. It has been overwhelming at times. But this past weekend, I was able to sit down a bit and work on Easter cards for my family and the teachers at my grandsons' Daycare. So this week I have enough cards to post all week!
The first card that I made for my Easter Cards was one using my favorite stamp, "EASTER BLESSINGS". I really love this color combination. The soft colors of Crisp Cantaloupe, Pear Pizazz and Daffodil Delight just scream Spring to me.
The supplies that I used for this card were:
STAMP SET: Easter Blessings, En Francois
PAPER: Crisp Cantaloupe, Pear Pizazz, Whisper White, and Water Wonder DSP
INK: Crisp Cantaloupe, Black StazOn, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizazz
ACCESSORIES: Blender Pens, Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8" Ruffled Stretch Trim, Dimensionals
I enjoy using the Blender Pens to color in lined images. The tulips are two-toned using Crisp Cantaloupe and Daffodil Delight. I think they look more three dimensional with the two colors and the shading. I hope my family members like this card when I send them out tomorrow.
It will be another busy day with phone calls, running and watching ALL 3 boys today. Thank goodness it is going to be a beautiful day today and the boys can play outside. Enjoy the day!
